Paper Smooches Mad Scientist

Hey everyone sorry i have been gone so long as most of you know my dad passed away from cancer September 21st and it has been hectic and surreal and bittersweet, but I couldnt have made it through without the love and support from my online crafty family I love you all. I am gonna jump right into todays card as I am a bit busy today I made a card for my aunt she is a scientist and one of the scientists she works with is going to a different company and so she wanted a card.

Its 51/2 x 5 1/2 card on PTI "Enchanted Eveneing" cardstock
I used patterned paper from DCWV "The Homeroom Stack" then created the rest of my scene with stamps. The "periodic table" type hexagons are from Paper Smooches (PS) "Vogue Abode" The computer, computer mouse, e-mail envelope &comp mouse arrow are from PS "Teen Routine" and the scientist, white mouse, beakers, smoke, & hazard symbol, are from PS "Great Chemistry. My sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Apothecary Labels" stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black ink and clear heat embossed.
I added glossy accents to his glasses, all the beakers and the computer screen and some clear Wink of Stella to the smoke. I didnt want lots of glitter on a masculine card so the Wink of Stella was the perfect amount.

I kept the inside fairly simple though

I just used more patterned paper, another beaker and smoke. My sentiment is from Mama Elephant "Up and Away" I masked off some of it. the atoms beneath the sentiment are also from Paper Smooches "Great Chemistry"

I get asked a lot what types of stamps I prefer for my scene cards and I have to say no matter what type of scene I am working on I always flip through my Paper Smooches stamps and find some to use they are definitly a great investment go check em out. Thanks for stopping by.XOXO
